The Construction News Workforce Awards celebrate the people striving to make construction a more inclusive industry, as well as the businesses doing outstanding work to improve the construction industry’s reputation and employment practices.
Following a rigorous judging process conducted by HR, equality and diversity and organisational development leaders from inside and outside the industry, PiLON emerged as winners of Health, Safety and Wellbeing Initiative 2022 for our commitment and clear vision on health and wellbeing and how to execute it. The judges were particularly impressed by our employee-led welfare, for which we thank our Wellbeing Committee colleagues.
Our colleagues, Diana Mihalcea, People and Culture Coordinator and Sid Clark, Head of SHEQ Compliance, members of the PiLON Wellbeing Committee, represented us at the Awards Ceremony. They were among peers from like-minded companies, and it was wonderful to see employee wellbeing reaching the top of organisations’ agendas.
“This industry would be nothing without the people who work in it. Our awards reward those who are finding better ways of working to deliver the society of tomorrow. We salute the winners and thank them for their innovation and leadership.”
