Islington – Voids
In June 2014, Islington Council appointed PiLON to improve the standard of their void properties to a lettable standard, as well as further works once the properties were occupied.
Reading – General Building Works
Our 4-year partnership began in 2017, delivering multiple contracts in domestic properties in need of repair in the Reading area. The scope of work is vast, including major and minor refurbishments, void properties, new bathrooms and kitchens, smoke alarm installation, upgraded thermal insulation, decorations, electrical testing and repairs to communal areas and gardens.
EASTLIGHT COMMUNITY HOMES – EICRS
Since April 2017, we have been delivering EICR testing works for Eastlight Community Homes (formerly Greenfields Community Housing). Our qualified Electrical Engineers complete approximately 2,200 EICR tests as well as C1 and C2 remedial works to properties across Essex and Suffolk each year.
Optivo – passive fire stopping works
The contract was awarded based on our immensely successful Kitchen and Bathrooms partnership contract with Optivo. The works in this contract comprise all types of passive fire stopping works to Optivo’s London stock including fire doors, compartmentalisation, fire dampers, and structural fire protection.
Wokingham – Remodelling and Extension
On behalf of Wokingham Borough Council, PiLON was appointed to carry out refurbishments to a major dwelling. We constructed a two-storey side extension as well as an additional single storey extension to the rear of property to provide a light and spacious open plan living environment.
Thrive Homes – Butterfly Bungalows Conversions
PiLON successfully secured this pilot project with Thrive Homes to deliver an initial batch of 3 properties with the opportunity to develop a further 27 units in Oxhey, Hertfordshire.
Reading – Electrical Works
We are currently delivering three separate electrical contracts covering testing, repairs, and rewires as well as a programme to upgrade smoke detectors to many of their blocks.
Metropolitan
PiLON were appointed by Metropolitan Housing Trust to undertake extensive building works at Bank Court, Walthamstow. This consisted of internal and external works ranging from cladding and roof replacements through to hard and soft landscaping across the development.
