International Women’s Day
Leading up to International Women’s Day this Sunday, we are shining the spotlight on some of the women working in various departments at PiLON, a true inspiration because they are very supportive, understanding, never giving up and real winners.
Jodie Lavender – Joined PiLON as a project administrator at the beginning of 2019, following her interests, Jodie has moved into the commercial team where she is working to develop her role in Quantity Surveying. Working with influential people in various roles has helped Jodie determine her career path as a female in the construction industry.
Lisa Smyth– Moved from corporate IT to the construction industry. Lisa who works in our finance department has a unique approach to improving relationships with client finance departments by getting out of the office to meet them face to face. This has improved both process and speed at which payments are received.
Anca Bulgarasu – Working in our HR department, Anca has championed wellbeing in the workplace and has been an integral part of the team introducing employee benefits. Anca is also working on a wellbeing project to offer further support to the PiLON workforce.
Joanne De Sousa, freshly arrived in the sector and with a smart, transparent and innovative approach, Jo had an immediate impact on strengthening up existing relationships and with excellent feedback in a very short timeframe, watch this space…
RLOs Sarah Gillanders and Charmaine Dullard are driving the customer satisfaction scores upon both their projects. This is apparent in the amount of thank you cards they receive from delighted customers.
