At PiLON we work hard to ensure that our robust health and safety practices and procedures are embedded throughout the company.
It’s not just the SHEQ team who make this possible. We are supported by our colleagues who show diligence and commitment every day to ensure the safety of those we work with and for, is top of our agenda.
We also benefit from the brilliant and bespoke technology our IT teams have developed to simplify our auditing processing. This includes our H&S App which features image uploads, auto alerts, auto reporting, dashboards, trend analysis, and auto-scheduling, all of which is fully compliant with our ISO:45001 accreditation.
This year we are proud to have received the International Safety Award with a Distinction from the British Safety Council. This marks the 10th consecutive year that we have won the British Safety Council International Safety Award.
Our success is credited to employing suitably competent people and continuously developing and supporting them through our in-house CITB accredited ‘Training and Development Centre’.
Mike Robinson, Chief Executive of the British Safety Council, congratulated PiLON on their success in winning an International Safety Award 2022 with a Distinction:
“The British Safety Council applauds PiLON on their achievement. The award is in recognition of their commitment and hard work to keep their employees and workplaces free of injury and ill-health.
“The vision of the British Safety Council is that no one should be injured or made ill through their work – anywhere in the world. Achieving this requires more than complying with legislation; it means people committed not only to health and safety but also more and more to workplace wellbeing and impelling others to follow suit.”
Well done to all organisations recognised in this year’s awards, demonstrating safe working practices.
Stay healthy and stay safe.
