Salary: Full-time equivalent rate of £25,000. Pro-rata figure to be confirmed depending on the number of hours agreed to work, i.e., £15,625 gross/ annum for 25 hours per week

Contract type: Permanent, flexible part-time role (up to 25 hours per week)

Due to growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Project Assistant with great communication, attention to detail, organisational and time management skills for our Fire Risk Assessment project. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious to progress their career and show pro-activity in anticipating the needs and expectations of the Site Manager.

This role provides growth opportunities as longer term, we would be looking to progress you into the Site Management position.

Main Objectives of the role:

  • Be the first point of contact for everyone contacting the site and supporting them as required
  • Provide administrative support to the Site Manager and the rest of the team
  • Liaise with residents and the site’s team to effectively deliver on commitments
  • Assist in overseeing the works to ensure they are conducted in a safe manner and meet the specified requirements in terms of cost, quality and timescale
  • Book appointments and manage project trackers
  • Help prepare and review budgets
  • Carry out research in line with projects aim
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (i.e., contracts and terms of the agreement)

Do you have what it takes?

  • Professional and highly organised with strong time-management skills
  • Good typing skills and strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Word, PowerPoint & Excel, generally IT minded
  • Good interpersonal and telephone etiquette manners
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines, change in priorities and work effectively as part of a team
  • Clean, UK driving licence


  • An interest in the construction/ social housing sectors, with a willingness to keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and legislation
